Thank you for inquiring about the Apprentice Program. As an apprentice you will reclaim your power, your beauty, your strength, and your ability to use the gifts of the earth.

A spiritual journey that begins with a shimmer of recognition; something new and strange that seems instantly familiar. Perhaps it is a memory from a past life, perhaps a glimmer of reality rising from collective unconscious of all humanity.

You feel a sense of longing and desire. Something has been missing from your life, something you have desperately needed, something you cannot name.

Now, she is awakening and you cannot deny the strength of her presence. You seek to know her, to learn of the great mysteries, and to walk the path of those who honor her. Your thirst for the knowledge of what came before, ... before modern world became so unbalanced.

You have taken the first steps on the path and are learning the Craft of the Wise. It begins with a longing and evolves into tradition. You now have a name for the things that were once purely instinctual. You discover that others share your beliefs... You are not alone.

The best way to start on the path to becoming an herbalist is to become intimate with a few plants and learn the basics of herbal preparation.

This course will cover herbs that you can find in your kitchen or backyard! They include Dandelion, Mullien, Yarrow, Nettle, Plantain, Calendula, Cleavers, Burdock, Yellow dock, Marshmallow, Red clover, Comfrey, Catnip, Chamomile, Alfalfa, Goldenseal, Echinacea, Cinnamon, Flax, Fennel, Ginger, Parsley, Rosemary, Sage, Thyme, Turmeric, and Garlic. Detailed descriptions with scientific names, constituents, associated aliments and recipes will be included. This class will also cover herbal preparation, wild crafting, how to make herbal remedies for friends and family, basic herbal pharmacognosy, your role as an herbalist, the spiritual aspect of healing, different types of herbal tradition such as Native American, Western herbalism, Folk medicine, and much more! You will learn how to make infusions, tinctures, fluid extracts, Comfrey Salve, essences and many other recipes. This class will also cover the healing philosophy of balance and the role and responsibilities of the community herbalist. Begin your herbal journey with me today!

The energy bodies have energy centers called Chakras, which work somewhat like valves that allow life force to circulate through the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. We also have energy meridians and nadas. These are like rivers, or streams, which carry our life force energy throughout our physical body, to nourish us and assist in balancing our body?s systems and functions.

Our physical body is alive because of the 'life force energy' that is flowing though it. If our life force is low or blocked, we are more likely to become ill, but if it is high and free flowing, we more easily maintain health and a feeling of well-being. Learning to make your own soap can be a rewarding and worthwhile experience. Not only does it teach a valuable skill that could come in handy during less than prosperous times, but have found it to be a lot of fun. It is abundantly rewarding to use something one has made for them self. I have also found that making my own soap from store bought raw materials is cheaper than buying it. My soap lasts a month or more, and is so much gentler that store bought.
